10/1/2020 7 Comments Poetic FootpathsHaving written most of my work in Sintra,
Where I have often dreamed and worked, I would like to stay here forever. I would like to be buried By one of those poetic footpaths That lead to the Moorish Castle To be close to men, my brothers, And closer to the moon and the stars, my friends, With the green earth in front of me And the sea stretching into the distance The sea and the earth That I have loved so much ~ Jose Maria Ferreira de Castro 1898-1974, Portugal

Looks like Avalon! The mists!! I miss you! Baja is beautiful, so different, spiny, dry and full of fruit. Looking forward to seeing more through your eyes and words. xo
